I couldn't resist trying Chrissie's double stamped vellum technique. The leaves were embossed with detail white powder, on vellum, then the backside of the vellum was stamped with cocoa bean ink. I love the look you get with having the darker ink stamping, show through the embossed front. I made a frame using rustic white and backed the panel with it, also. The accent strips were from leftover colorburst BG's I'd made using sepia powder and the crumb cake was left over from a woodgrain embossed panel. The leaf frame was popped up with foam tape. I will definitely be trying Chrissie's vellum technique again!

Sue, your card is BEAUTIFUL! Love the white embossed, veiny leaves on the vellum echoing what is stmaped beneath. The mixed media DP was a beautiful choice to use on the stripe panel.

I recognized that technique right away and your panel turned out beautifully! I can't wait to try this myself. The papers you chose for the horizontal strips are lovely with your focal panel.

FABULOUS look! Love the effect of the white embossed vellum and the back-stamping as well! Such a wonderful effect! Love your color burst bg as the focal of your background stripes! Such a great combination with your leaf framed art!
