This is my sample for Cathy's WTUI challenge this week, which you will find HERE.
I used the same stamps/sets on both the inside and the front. The map on the front was simply stamped on white card, and layered onto kraft.
For the inside, I stamped it on mixed media paper using Versafine black, coloured it with Inktense pencils, and then added a layer of gesso to tone it down. I distressed the edges with walnut stain and vintage photo.
The sentiments, bookworm, globe and paper plane are all from SNSS's Bookmarks Bits and Pieces. I made a chalkboard-style panel for the front, stamping and embossing in white on black card, and adding some white smudges. Inside I stamped directly onto my map after the gesso had thoroughly dried. The front seemed to be missing something, it looked better after I had added a couple of buttons.

Love your bookworm chalkboard sentiment from Dr. Seuss and his social studies quip inside...love how you've shown the meaning through use of the world globe and a map! Perfect cards for school days!
