This is for today's sketch challenge. This was really a difficult sketch, and all I could see was a package, or ribbon. So for the cross cross, it is ribbon. It is really hard to see, but it is there. This will be for my niece's birthday as she loves daisies.
Thanks so much for taking closer look.

Oh, how pretty Barbie! I love this wonderful bouquet of daisies and your niece will too! This striped paper looks terrific with the colors of the daisies, and your gorgeous bow wraps this card up so nicely! ~Karen.

What a beautiful card. I love the ribbon you used to make your x.

What a beautiful bouquet of happy daisies. I had a niece who also loved daisies and I always think of her when I see them. I like the striped background and that lovely bow. I thought "ribbon" for this sketch as well.

Barb, I REALLY like how you handled the diagonals on your card....you minimized them with sheer organza ribbon. : ) You know how I feel about diagonals in designs.....unless they are integral and meaningful in a design, they are strong elements that distract the eye. Your daisy bouquet shines now and is beautifully done. A lovely card.

Great job with this tough challenge. Those daisies with their sparkly centers are wonderful!

Very pretty. I love the way you used the daisy stamp. I have the stamp, but it has been a long time since I used it. I think I will have to get it out sometime in the near future.
