hi there,
This is my card for the CC today using the wonderful colour combo Mary has given us.
The leaves prints on my card are made from real maple leaves. I rubbed my Distress in onto my non-stick pad, sprayed with water and pressed the backside of the leaves into the wet ink. I placed them onto my paper and using a scrap piece of paper, pressed them to make an impression on my paper. I then took a wet paintbrush and using some Distress stain, painted around the leaves making a watery bkg. Stamped and embossed the sentiment.
thanks for looking,

Gorgeous! I have used real leaves as my stamps in the past and had completely forgotten about that! I think your method of pressing them into watery distress ink works beautifully and I'm making a note to try it.

Oh my goodness, Karen, this card is stunning! When I first looked at it, I thought--those leaves look so real! And now I know why! Thank you for telling us how you created this beautiful card. Also, I love the sentiment! What a gorgeous creation!
