Peggy chose beautiful colors this week - water melon wonder, tip top taupe, and chocolate chip with die cuts or punches for desert. Some cards just come together so easily. No matter what you do it just gets better. This was not one of those cards. I have quite a collection of melon, taupe, and brown discarded parts. Just before I jumped off the nearest cliff, this card finally came together. Between the stress inducing trip to Costco ((hint- do not go to Costco the weekend before Thanksgiving), followed by an even more poorly planned trip to Walmart (definitely not the place to go from November until after Christmas), followed by this uncorporative card, I am in need of a trip to a tropical island. It has been fun being a guest designer with this great CC team....come play along with these terrific colors.

Congratulations on guest designer, Francie! You card is fabulous, as always and I just love the bursting technique you chose for this. The colors ARE beautiful and wow, can you color! Thanks for the chuckles in your description too!

I'm with Nancy...that burst technique looks so awesome, Francie! Beautifully done! I hear you about Costco and Walmart...I always have to work up my nerve to go in there at peak times! You are one brave woman!

Well it may not have been a pretty process, but the end result was a grand success! Love the "bursting" bells, all your bright color, and the greenery is a perfect "grounding" detail! Thanks for being a great GD this month!

Oh my goodness, girl, I feel for you hitting Costco AND Walmart on the same day - ugh! We've all had card-making sessions such as you describe; we don't all end up with such beautiful results!
