When I saw the TLC527 to use only one color and nothing but cs, I almost fainted. Since using every brignt color ink that I own and glueing everything but the kitchen sink to my cards seems to be my style, I was going to skip this one. Well, the next thing I knew I was knee deep in die cuts. I nearly ended it all trying to get this box die cut from under all the storage boxes in the garage... obsessed crafting mom found crushed under 7 tons of art supplies in her garage.... not the obituary I want. When my older son turned 13 ( he is 19 now) I made 150 treat boxes using this rectangular box for his Bar Mitzvah party. It only took me 6 years to be able to look at it again without breaking out in a sweat. I kept the flap for the lid unfolded and glued 2 boxes together to put treats in both sides. I punched the small oval through the 2 unfolded lids like a basket handle. I am going to fill it with either tea or candies for a friend of mine. TFL, Francie

What a lovely box, Francie! I'm totally w/ you on the supply thing..you should (not) see my main closet. The 4 ft tall Iris cart is listing to port in an awful way. It couldn't possibly be all the stuff I piled on top of it. I always open the door slowly in case I need to slam it shut in a hurry.

Francie, can we say you have an addition. Loved your story. The basket is beautiful, and you did get the vibrant colors you are so good at creating. Love it. tfs

This is just fabulous, Francie! After making all those for the Bar Mitzvah I can sure understand why you left it alone for so long! The BRIGHT yellow is wonderful as a Spring treat box. I love all the die cuts you used.......now aren't you glad you took part in the challenge today (and no one had to find you buried under that mountain of stuff!).

In my faves it goes! Your description made me giggle. I made 30 of a doily Valentine holder once and I have never again done a big project! I am so glad you pulled out this very cool box die cut! So fun and I love that you combined challenges on this!
