This card was made for the Clean & Simple Challenge, CAS317 Bulbs or Bulb Flowers (3/23/15).
I decided to use a very old daffodil stamp that I bought unmounted at a stamp show many years ago. I'm embarrassed to say that this is the first time it has seen ink!!! Even worse, it was tossed in the give-away box and was rescued to make this card. I think after using it to make this card it has earned a reprieve and will be put back in the keeper's drawer.
It was fun to incorporate an egg shape into the design as a background for the main image panel - I repeated that shape on the inside of the card for a greeting panel.
To give the bunny some dimension, I layered 3 of the punched shapes together and then brushed the top layer with a coat of glimmer glaze for a bit of gloss.
The bed of daffodils looked kind of flat just colored with copics, so I glitzed them up with colored spica marker pens. I finished off the top tag panel with a twist of loopy ribbon, attached with a tiny staple.
Thanks so much for stopping by to peek at Peter in the Daffodils. Have a Hoppy Easter!

Adorable! Everything about this feels so fresh! The tag shape, the egg background, the kraft bunny in front of stamped flowers! Wonderful! (And this is edited to say I didn't read Angie's comment until I posted mine, lol!)
