I have just finished commenting that pink is by no means my favourite colour. So now I have decided to make a card in pink. It's for my pastor's wife and dear friend of mine, who likes pink. I am using the new die cut set 'Resplendent Rectangles' This is the first test piece I cut, and the paper slipped, so a tiny corner in the right lower side was missed. That's why I had to use the flower embellishment. I did cut the sentiment rectangle and while still in the die, sponged it with spun sugar. The scripture verse is a perfect size for this die cut. I layered that rectangle over the larger die cut and then added the flower.

Ina, this is a LOVELY card for your pastor's wife. Even if pink is not your favorite color, you put that aside and made a card filled with love for a lady who really likes it. Your new rectangle dies are gorgeous and I think it was a "happy accident that you needed to add the flower. it is a lovely finishing touch.

What a great way to disguise a mishap, Ina. Your rectangles are, indeed, resplendent and especially with your design using the beautiful rose and sentiment!
What an inspiring Scripture verse to start out the New Year. I love the die frame that showcases your verse so beautifully. Thanks for participating in our Bible Verse Challenge. :-) LM
