Michelle's fun challenge was to bring colour. I wasn't sure what I was making when I started out so I spounged distress inks over half a sheet of A4. I then squirted the paper with water mixed with a few drops of Vintage Photo reinker, then a few more squirts with water and Aged mahogany.
I got carried away and the coloured water was starting to look like big puddles so I gently dabbed them with a baby wipe.
I cut two panels to make two cards, stamped the sentiment in TH Black Soot distress ink (I wish I knew the brand). Adhered two floral die cuts (one in black cardstock and the other inked to match paper). Fine doodled border.
Great fun and super quick. Thank you for looking.

Creative...and inventive, Susie. These cards have gorgeous, created bgs. Your work is always something to enjoy....and study. Love how you let the bg really shine here and just added die cut silhouettes...but well-chosen ones. Truly lovely.

Wow, these cards are beautiful. Lots of time spent, but sooo, worth it . Great color choices. I love the die cuts, done in black, for the bg. Love the way you colored the next set of die cuts, in matching inks. Great sentiment. You have created two very beautiful cards. tfs.
