hi there,
Here is my card for the WT challenge today; Inspired by Music. Now you may be scratching you head and wondering what song I had in my head!! Since I am a daycare provider and my days are filled with little kiddos and many songs the one stuck in my head is the Peanut Butter one. Here it is for anyone unfamiliar...
A Peanut sat on the railroad track,
It's heart was all a flutter,
The train came 50 miles an hour,
Splat, peanut butter!
I used the red as the brown would have looked like a muddy mess. Sponged on Distress inks onto a mask and added some stamping.
Hope you like it and thanks so much for looking.

I love your card; I think it is really cool looking!! What a cute little song. I think it is a good and important job to be watching over young ones. Good for you!

My dad used to sing that song to me. It was a verse from "It Ain't Gonna Rain No More" when he sang it-- Tons of silly verses, with a chorus that ended "How in the heck can I wash my neck if it ain't gonna rain no more?" Memories!
What a fun, bright card!

This is fab, Karen! I love where your inspiration came from. I remember that song from pre-school many eons ago.... I will have to sing it to the twins, as I am not sure if they have heard it before.

Karen, I can see you had fun with this! I love the splat, and even better, I love the song! I had never heard it before, but it is so fun, and I can imagine kids would love it!

I'm still laughing, Karen. Your young charges are truly blessed to have someone so attuned with their way of thinking. Wonderful card, with that explanation there is absolutely no irony in your sentiment. TFS
