This was a fun card. . .it all came together and many of the elements were scraps or experiments (the ribbon, the butterfly, the background. . .
Romans 8:28 is my favorite verse because it reminds me that the Lord is sovereign and that all is working according to His most wise and holy plan and that it WILL be alright in the end. . perhaps not this side of eternity. . but He has promised and He is faithful!
So many thoughts relative to this card, the red for our Lord and His sacrifice for those whom the Father has given Him, but also as a reminder that we will have trouble in this world; the yellow represents the Son of Righteousness and that time when will there will be no need of sun or moon. The brown reminds me that we are but dust. The butterflies because we are new creations in Christ. The mist and sponging and embossing, because we see only dimly now what one day we will see without the sin that clouds our vision.
The ribbon with the script stamped on it represents the Word of God which endures forever.

This is really beautiful - love the mixtures of paper and images and shimmer. The verse is really special and I love your thoughts on your card. Great job.

Wow! This is GORGEOUS. Thank you so much for explaining the Scriptural reasons behind your choice of so many of the elements...very encouraging. I'm glad you are a part of our Bible Verse Challenge. :-) LM
