This is for Color Challenge 77 to use Marigold, Cranberry and Caribbean. I added Celery for the ground and artichoke for the grass. I love my little basket scene but went way out of my comfort zone on the layout. There are so many talented layout people on this site.......sadly I'm just not one of them. I did try though!!!
I taped off the leaves on the basket in this set and then stamped and masked the basket and stamped the apples from the bucket of apples image. I sketched the apples at the bottom of my scene (so pitiful....I hate to admit I did but I wasn't giving up on it). I painted all the apples with a light wash of Marigold, let it dry well and then used Cranberry to paint a second layer. I used a dry brush and applied the celery lightly around the basket and then drew in the grass with the artichoke marker. I dyed white ribbon with caribbean.

I always love to see what little scence you have created next! Don't you dare say you are not talented, I look at your work for wonderful ideas and inspiration. You have such a knack for delight and your work always makes me smile. I love the marigold wash you have given this, and the layout is really fun. It makes me want to give it to a teacher with all those beautiful apples.

Kittie, if you're not talented, then I wish I wasn't talented! You have beautiful cards - even this oops (as you call it!) Love the colours, and those apples are just great!
