Intrigued by the quartet card idea (sorry, I can't find it now to give proper credit...) on SCS of a 3D, collapsable card, I developed a trio card. I wanted less frame in the way of the center, hanging greeting. This is impossible to capture without a digital camera, so I will try to describe.
Use three 4-1/4 X 5-1/2" panels (you can actually leave two of the panels together in a 5-1/2 X 8-1/2" and fold as you would for a standard card)
Center your coluzzle over each panel, cut in track 4 to make the center oval for the greeting, then cut track 3 to make the finished size of the oval in the panel.
Stamp and decorate as desired, fold each panel in half vertically, and hope your cuts were accurately placed in the center so they line up!
Glue 2 panels back to back, to the center fold, then the other half to the next panel, so that you end up with 3 legs to make a standing card
Leave some space when glueing at the center top to thread the hanging ribbon through
Decorate 2 oval greeting panels as desired, and glue back to back. Punch near the top of the oval, thread ribbon through, knot above the oval, and use a large eyed needle to thread the ribbon through the center top of the frame, then knot or tie a bow to finish.
The best part ~ the card folds for mailing!
The cheesecloth reminds me of the empty graveclothes on Easter morning!
