I love this stamp set! I'm always reaching for it, so it was a given that I'd have to use it for my friend's Birthday. I made her this stationary set (notecards were uploaded separatly) and and a matching card.
The Initial concept for the stationary folder is from one I saw in OnStage using Serene Sunflowers, done be Michelle Fischer. I've probably already used the design for this super simple folder 4 times already, I love it!
Directions For Folder:
Although I based this folder on the one I saw on OnStage…..I had to kinda guess how to reconstruct it, but thankfully it was super easy. To make the base I used one sheet of 8.5x11 cardstock (the finished size is 5” wide by 6” high). I started by folding up 2.5 inches from the bottom and creasing, to make the flap. Then I folded the whole thing exactly in half (and creased) to make the two sides (make sure to fold in half with the flaps on the inside). Because it gets a little bulky, after I fold it in half I cut a slit in the flaps at an angle. I then decorate the front, and secure the flaps using eyelets. Then I thread the ribbon through from the front to the inside.
Hope this all makes sinceÂ….itÂ’s actually super quick and easy!
