This card is for the Dr. Suess challenge. I took my inspiration from Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? In the middle of the book, it says Mr. Brown can whisper, very soft, very high...like the soft, soft whisper of a butterfly.
Well, no one in my family can whisper...in fact my daughter was half way through 2nd grade before I got a note from her teacher that said Mandy finally found her inside voice....it only lasted that one day though... we are a loud, gregarious bunch...but we all love butterflies so I used this for my inspiration anyway!
The butterfly is layered and has iridescent ice ep on it as well. Brads around the corners, CB'd background and lots of Suess-like colors.
Thanks for looking and what do you think?
PS...the Mandy in this story is non other than your hostess for this challenge!!

I adore this card and I love the inspiration!! Mr. Brown would be so proud of you! The butterfly just pops off the page and the colors are so fantasticly bright, just like a Seuss book!
I don't mind that you shared about my "inside voice"....you know what they say, like mother like daughter. Love you too!

I'm still chuckling over the inside voice story. Someone taught that teacher diplomacy. You know we're told to always say something positive before giving bad news. I can't tell you how often I wanted to use~he breathes well~! Very whimsical, colorful card, Deb. Thanks for the chuckle.

LOL! Your story is so sweet and your card is fabulous! The colors are gorgeous together! I'll definitely be casing it.
