Hello, I made this card for this weeks sketch challenge http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=366251 and the colour challenge, soft sky, river rock & vanilla. I changed the vanilla to natural ivory, hope that's ok!
The card base is natural ivory, with a layer of soft sky dp with lightly sponged edges.
Aren't you proud of me Sue, I finally used some SU DP I've been treasuring/hoarding!
The long panel is ivory with distressed edges & river rock embossed with distressed stripes EF & sponged edges.
Charlie (from cdstamps.com) was stamped with stazon brown onto ivory a couple times. Then I coloured him with my new kon-i-noor pencils. I had to use goo-gone to blend because thats all I have right now!
Charlie's head is popped up, and his tail is a separate layer glued on.
The sentiment was stamped with brown, edges distressed and popped up.
I finished it off with some soft sky dbl stitched ribbon (I love that stuff).
