These two bookcases were totally packed with Stampin Up stamps and some were stored elsewhere beore I unmounted. Those white Photo storage boxes aren't completely filled - just look how much space unmounting saves.
I have just finished unmounting my stamp sets, 325 Stampin Up sets and I have quite a few clear sets, a few TAC and others. Most clear sets are one set per CD case but the Studio G $1 stamps are 4 sets per case. All but 3 Stampin Up sets fit into one CD case. I did not unmount the background stamps nor the individual wood mounted sets. I have the individual ones in Iris cases (12x12) and 2 or 3 layers per case. This system is currently working so I haven't decided if I will unmount those.
Every stamp that I own is either stamped or a copy of the index sheet copied, numbered and cross referenced. I separated the stamps into categories and the index is also devided into categories.
I also rearranged my room.

Your photos are a great example of saving space. If ever anyone was undecided about unmounting their stamps, this should get them off the fence. I think that SU should offer their stamps unmounted from now on. All of us would appreciate not having to waste money on shipping thus having twice as much to spend on stamps! I love that we got a peek at the Before and After. I can tell that you are a person who pays attention to detail.
Wonderful job, Barbara!!
