When I received a wonderful baby announcement with four baby pictures I knew I had to use it to create a scrapbook page.
This is the 12 x 12 scrapbook page I made for a relative's new baby boy. Base papers were from one of those pastel color texture white core cardstock you can buy at WalMart for $7 - I bought it to use to play with new cricut cartridges.
My idea was to create a page that had space for Mom and Dad to write their version of events on the big day....Photo 1: Base Camp for lettering "on the day...", three small pictures from announcement as well as the black block with "details"
Photo 2: Baby Boy lettering on striped paper was a purchased card from EKSuccess Sticko, opened up to feature the large baby photo; upper flap was actually the envelope from the purchased card used to create journaling spots
Photo 3: Opposites Attract cricut cartridge Mama says; Daddy says; striped paper was actually the envelope flap...it became an obsession trying to use every bit of that purchased card!
