 | | Thanks Anne for a great challenge that brought back wonderful memories! The summer before I turned 16, a very long time ago, I spent a month with a friend on my Step-Grandma's farm in Nebraska. We had a blast to say the least! Helped gather eggs, feed the chickens, stack bales of hay, and lots of other "fun" farm chores!
This IC reminded me of her wash tubs. She really did wash clothes in them, wringer and all! I put flowers in mine. She also had lots of chickens and roosters that wondered around everywhere. I learned to drive a stick shift out by the corn field, only I sort of drove over my uncle's green beans before I got the hang of it! LOL
For this scene, I did a faux wood for the porch floor, scored the planks for the siding. Stamped and colored my tub. Cut it out and popped it up on front.
Stamped the big tree. Cut out an oval. Stamped the rooster and chickens, colored and cut out. Put the rooster on the porch, and fed the chickens some of my birdies bird food.
What a blast from the past here! TFL :0)
