I was inspired by Kay Lamb Shannon's Front Porch Washtubs: http://www.kaylambshannon.com/catalog_g17.html
Growing up, my parents lived in a small PA town on a very old street. All the houses were built around 1900 and ours had a giant porch with a veranda, with awnings and plenty of buckeye trees to protect us from the heat of summer. The print reminded me of the days we would play endlessly on the huge porch, and as we grew up drinking iced tea with our friends, sitting out on the gigantic redwood furniture there. It was the living room of our home in the spring-fall months, and I have wonderful memories of it.
