This is the card I made for kmensley's Summer Soiree Swap: an invitation for any event and include a favorite recipe. Mine was for a Summer Soiree with Caribbean Breezes and Jalapeno Popper Dip!
I used TLC141 but realized that they were supposed to be horizontal after I finished them. :-( And there's no stamping, so it's also LSC167.
I based the colors on the fabulous DP by Autumn Leaves called Blackbird Birdsong: wild wasabi, rose red, bashful blue, and black.
A bundle of sheer ribbon and a brad hold the dangling scallop circle, which is accented with some black Stickles and silver Sakura pen dots, which I also added around the border of the card front. The small center flower was punched from a paint sample strip!
The invitation & recipe were laser-printed on bashful blue, then layered onto both sides of the black insert. I topped it with some DP, then added some fun polka dot ribbon and more silver Sakura dots on the top.
So, what do you think? I had a lot of fun making these, and I really hope my swap recipients like them. Thanks for looking!

I got one of these in the Soiree Swap! It is absolutely darling! Love the pocket and the recipe is on the back of the pullout part. The colors are great! This card actually looks better in person than it does on here. Great job, Susan!!
