Way to inspire us this week, Anne, with some potty humor! I enjoyed perusing Kay Lamb Shannon's gallery and loved her Americana prints. But in the end the rooster swayed me...
The focal point of my card is this awesome sentiment from Artistic Outpost, part of their 'Home' plate of unmounteds. I stamped it onto GP white cs (TH di walnut stain) and distressed the edges. I stippled ChalkBox inks of various colors all over. I stamped another rooster and placed it atop the original to provide dimension. The red arrow is from 7 gyspies/silver brad from MM. My papers are as follows narrow panel Fancy Pants, blue compass paper, SandyLion, the aged stars is MME 29th St Market. I found my layout in the master sketch files! I used MM rub-ons for the name and Mariah Johnson ransom alpha for the Y which was inked in ColorBox lava black and embossed.
It's the middle of the night for me, my ds (13) leaves in the morning for the state Little League Championship...I'll tuck this into his suitcase as a surprise and another one which I will post to my blog. My boys know to hunt for reminders from home...thanks for looking and I'd love to hear your comments.
I'm editing to add the sentiment just in case it's hard to read. "Keep your head and your heart in the right direction and you'll never have to worry about your feet"
