Of course, Speedy the Cat was at it again. Last night he stashed pieces of twine and Hodge Podge Hardware under the Bath Mat! I'm so glad he didn't find any brads, because that could have meant a trip to the Emergency Vet...Speedy the Cat does NOT like the Emergency Vet...However, that's another TALE...(Tail...heeheehee)
I had to come up with my own stamp sets, but as soon as I saw the inspiration piece was an OUTHOUSE, I had to use my H&M Stamps outhouse! Then, because I was slap happy, (tired BEYOND tired), I thought up this saying, "Do Bears SLEEP in the woods..." Well, I couldn't put a Potty reference on my card...Markie would have a fit! Not to mention Speedy the Cat would probably have a coronary...and that would lead to a trip to the Emergency Vet...Not a good idea!
The background is a portion of a DCWV designer paper. I sponged in color for the "forest" and "sky." I used a marker to make grass/weeds.
Gerald the Grizzly, (named after my Big Grand Daddy), and the outhouse were stamped on White card stock and colored with markers. (I reverse stamped the bear by stamping on acetate with black and rubbing the image onto Whisper White. I filled in the lines with marker.)
I colored the twine with a marker, added dots to the jumbo eyelets, HPH and the edges with an Inkssentials pen and marker.

Remarkable Faith! Love your scene and the dotted brads! Fabulous- as usual! TFS

Wow! I love how you did the woods by simply sponging. It looks fantastic and makes it look so 'in the background'. I can't believe you had an outhouse stamp. I have no idea what I'm going to do for today's challenge. I have no outhouses or rooster stamps. I will be forced to very creative indeed.
