We were to do a one photo layout similair to the one in the above thread.
I have always loved this old photo of my grandmother. I know it was taken in front of her cousin's house, but don't know an exact date. My mom says she guesses it was in the 40's. I don't know what she is all dressed up for, but I love her mink shawl and her feathery flowery hat. The gallery photo doesn't do this photo justice!
My base is River Rock that I inked with Chocolate Chip to age it. I used SU Brocade Background DP and tore the edges.
I ran a piece of brocade blue through my crimper several times to give it a worn cloth-like appearance and inked in CC to age it. I added brown and blue primas, pearl dew drops, buttons, vintage ribbons, and an old hat pin.
I also framed her name with hodge podge hardware.
All of the stamping along the top and bottom is done in Chocolate chip.
TFL!

This page turned out really, really nice. I recognized the layout from the challenge right away! I like the colors you chose and the whole page has an heirloom quality to it. Wonderful!
