I learned how to make this flower at stamp club and wanted to incorporate it into this week's challenges.
The flower petals are made by using the SU Round Tab Punch and folding them in half. I sponged the edges with Almost Amethyst. The leaves are made by using an oval punch and folding the punched piece in half long ways and then running the folded piece through paper crimper at an angle. I don't yet have an oval punch so used a circle punch and trimmed it into a leave shape after folding in half. The flower center is split peas.
Thanks for looking!

Great idea to make flower petals with the tab punch! I've seen it used to make bread loaves, but not the flowers. Love your leaves, too. The peas in the center add nice texture.

Your flower is fabulous. I love how you used the punches to make the petals. I never would have thought of that. I also love the leaves. I am going to have to try that too. I have a lot of flower stamps but I always feel like they need leaves, and my hand cut and scored leaves always leave something to be desired. I am favoriting your card so I can come back and try your leaf tech. I will give you credit if I post.
