We were to use something from the spice rack for our card creations. I used turmeric spice and Art Glitter for the flower centerÂ’s mustard color. Art Glitter is the same product as Stampin UpÂ’s Chrystal Effects. I mixed it in good with a toothpick so it wonÂ’t be coming off on the fingers.
-I used 1 3/8” and 1 ¼” square punches and they are just glued to the card in the center and two corners so a little dimension can give the card character.
- The blue square was a scrap of faux linen that looked perfect for the designer paper.
Paper: White leather texture, plain white, Fiskars – black, unknown designer paper found at a Hallmark store

Accessories: Prismacolor pencils, Mona Lisa paint thinner/mineral spirits, paper stumps, Art Glitter, Dazzling Diamonds, Turmeric, toothpick for application of spice, Stampin Up – mat pack, tape, tacky glue
Techniques: Tearing, paper piercing, faux linen, Prismacolor, glitter

Your coloring is great - it looks so perfect on your dp. What a cute idea to put the turmeric seed as flower centers. I love how you tore the paper as well. Nice card!

Very pretty! I like the offset black frames with the vibrant florals. This card has alot of textures without embellies or dimensionals - great one for mailing!
