I rarely do these color challenges, mainly because I don't have the colors. But this time, I decided I'd improvise. There was 1/2 piece of what I think is WWasabi left over from a Jeanne stampin party. I just used pieces of yellow to pretend it's So Saffron, and a very slight hint of some lavender CS. My Embossing Powder on the flowers is from Stampendous called -- tadaaahhh -- PEARLuster Amethyst. So, I used whole amethyst instead of "Almost" Amethyst.
I stamped and embossed the flower three times and cut it out, as well as the very small yellow bracts. There are Dew Drops in the center of the flowers.
The DP is from the first slab I ever bought - at least 6 years ago. I'm finally realizing the beauty and usability of this paper.
Note after a lot of thought: OK, so the little yellow thingys aren't bracts. Maybe they're stamens. At least, I remember from cake decorating class to make "stamens" and put them in the middle of the flower. Hell, I ain't no botanist. It's a flower with little yella things!
