These candles were made for my beautiful 4 months old granddaughter Michela's Baptesim
(due on Sat, July 19)
My DiL stamped the cute angel on tissue paper and then colored them w/ reg. pencil crayons (almost to give them that appearance that was made by a child) She then proceeded to use wax paper and applied the images to each candles.
We then added sparkling stickles to the wings and the halos.
I help by adding the bottom grosgrain stitched pink ribbon and the lacey flowers.
After they were all done I put them together and clear-wrapped them in pre-cut cello.
Finished the whole ensemble w/ another matching ribbon to which we looped the back tags made using rect scalloped (and non) nestabilities w/ baby name, occasion and thank U's.
(Anna (my DiL), had all tags, ribbons, flowers, rhinestone chrystal brads etc, ready for me...she's quite well organized!)
On the other side of the tag she added her
beautiful daughter picture dressed in her Christening outfit (pictures taken at an earlier date)
What do U think??
Isn't it a beautiful 'souvenir' for guests to take home,to remember such splendid occasion of becoming God's Child?
Anna and I are very pleased w/ the results and had much fun making them...
Hope U like them too, please leave us a comment if U do
Thanks for visiting! :o)
