I made this card for two challenges - the Ways to Use it challenge to use a mini element on your card (I used mini blue brads - and sort of a mini bird!)
and it's also for the Double Dare Challenge I do with a group of SCS friends - Charlene (LilLuvsStampin) was our hostess this week - and her instructions were to make a Christmas themed card - using Brocade Blue and Julee's MoJoSketch challenge seen here: http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/s.../Mojo%20Monday
I didn't have brocade blue so I used a Bazzil blue CS that I had that's hopefully close? I punched the edge with a Martha Stewart lacy snowflake punch.
The chubby bird and sentiment are by Amuse - new releases I purchased at an A-muse-a-palooza event at The Paper Tree in Manchester, NH where I attended a workshop run by Jenn Shurkus this past Tuesday.

Do you know that I love penguins?!? This guy is so adorable, Julia, and I love that you used him for your beautiful Christmas-themed card! The black really makes everything pop! Terrific job with the challenge!
