Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Happy 4th.
Well, Speedy the Cat chose this set last night! I was surprised that it worked for this challenge! Speedy the Cat is a GENIUS!!!
We were to use 4 layers or less. (I had four including paper piecing...if you look really close, you can see that the flower is really STAMPED onto the designer paper! I used my Signo pen to add white. Next I used the stamp positioner and stamped over the Signo pen in BLACK! Then, I colored it in! (I did the same thing with the dress hem!)
We were also limited to embellishments/speciality tools! ONLY 4 TOTAL! YIKES!!! I really struggled with this for some reason... I ended up with a HEADACHE! LOL!
My four were:
Cuttle Bugged background
1 1/4" punch
Ribbon
Gem Stones
The purse was stamped on Whisper White and then I HAND CUT the circle around it!...(Hey, I followed rules! LOL! Also, my 1" punch is packed away and there is NO way I'm searching for it!) Then, I stamped the purse onto the designer paper and layered it with a dimensional. (It also hid the major boo boos of my hand cutting! LOL!)
The dots were made with an Inkssentials pen and marker.
The Cuttle Bugged layer was sponged with a dauber.
The edges were heavily sponged. (The White layers were sponged with Real Red to get the look of an additional layer!)

I'm feeling your pain...shall I pass the bottle of Excedrin? You did an amazing job with this challenge. Your sponging gives the effect of more layers than there actually are and love the creative way you worked in the purse layer without adding depth!! Love it!!!

Your title made me laugh...because I'm feelin' your pain. I struggled with it too, but we did it!! Awesome card. I love how the dress comes off the edge, and the colors are GREAT! You go girl!
