I made this fun canvas bag using a new stamp set called Plant Prints from Artful INKables.
The bag is 6x5.5 inches and came in a set of 5 bags from Michaels.
I cut a square out of a piece of CS and put the frame part over the bag - then sponged with Hazzlenut Adirondack ink inside the square. I removed the stencil and over stamped the ferns and flowers.
The leaf stem was cut using a sizzix die. I added the punched circle at the top of the stem so it was thick enough to add an eyelet. I looped some hemp through the eyelet and tied it around the handle of the bagl.
I lightly sprayed the stamping with a matt acrylic sealer spray by Plaid that I got at Michaels. I did this to seal the ink so it wouldn't smudge. On the bag it says only to hand wash with mild soap - but I don't think you would need to ever wash this bag - I didn't try washing it yet so do not know if the ink will fade or not.
This would be a cute thank you filled with tea bags, or chocolate (!) or any item you know the recipient might enjoy!
