I went to StampFest yesterday and bought this beautiful Victorian house -- and all the accessory stamps that went with it. I figured I could use it to CASE this card from Michele's gallery -- Snowman by chelemom at Splitcoaststampers -- today's Featured Stamper. They layout is basically the same, and my changes are:
* 4th of July instead of Christmas
* Moved the ribbon to the top
* Oval sentiment panel instead of square brad
This was such a fun card to make. The basic house stamp is unadorned, and you can get other stamps to decorate it for Christmas, 4th of July, and Halloween. It's a good thing I learned how to use my Stamp-a-ma-jig because it definitely is a requirement! The sentiment is from a set of $1 Studio G stamps. I used Crystal Effects on the windows. The ribbon came in a package of 6 for $1 in the Target Dollar Spot.

This is so beautiful! Reminds me of Oak Park Boulevard where I grew up, with its giant oak canopy and rows of Victorians with their beautiful gingerbread. People used to really show their patriotism and deck their houses out with banners, flags, and swags. Thanks for the flashback!
