In the last few months I have fallen in love with watercolors and all the different techniques this site has taught us. This one was started with the smakin' acetate technique for the background, then I stamped in the sunflowers. I used the SU makers to color the sunflowers and create some grass. I used the makers to start the tree and then started sponging using the SU stampin' spots just layering the colors and drawing in little branches with the markers. I finished up with sponging additional color in the sky and water. A couple weeks ago I read 7 differant watercolor books while I was on vacation that has helped me create some of my cards. I also invested in some brushes and watercolor tube paints that I plan to use on future cards. Finished card 5x7. Thanks for looking.
