My WT172 card using a bird image. In honor of Jacksonbelle being this weeks hostess I had to sew, distress and use more masculine colors. I love this style too!
Also I have been having fun this week using SU stamp sets that are going to be retiring on Aug. 11th.
I used vanilla thread to sew around the edge using the zigzag and straight stitches on my Janome Mini sewing machine. I distressed the edges with my cutting tool and sponged with Choc Chip.
I stamped merci on the DP, attached the ribbon and cutout bird, which I glazed with Crystal Effects. Love the effect.... My card is 5 1/4" square so I could show off more of the ret. designer paper.
Thanks Lindsey for a cool WT theme.......Nancy

Wow, Nancy, this is fantastic! I love the sewn edges, distressing and the glaze on the popped up bird is fabulous! The wide satin ribbon and DP are perfect! Great card my friend!

Nancy, this is beautiful and elegant! The glaze on the bird is a really nice touch. Love this card and it's nice to see Carte Postale in use. Sorry to see it retiring!
