My first workshop is this Saturday. It's going to be a big one...16 guests!! Luckily I know everyone, and I'm the one who introduced everyone to SU many years ago, so I'll be very comfortable facing this crowd.
I was inspired by the many pretty cards in the gallery, but this is my take on it. My card base is Sahara Sand. I used VersaMark to stamp the branch onto Orchid Opulence cs and layered it on Basic Black. I used my White Craft Ink Pad to stamp the main image and used white embossing powder to finish it off. I stamped the sentiment with Basic Black onto Sahara Sand cs and used a Hodgepodge frame to offset it. This embossed panel is layered on Sahara Sand cs and added to the card with Dimensionals. I used my 1/2" circle punch on Sahara Sand and my 1/4" circle punch on Basic Black for a faux brad look. (I also ran the edges of the Sahara Sand circle along the Basic Black ink pad for some definition.)
I hope my guests will like it as much as I do.
