I need to watch some more tutorials. I found this card not only to be frustrating, but the shading is horrible. My Merlot came out as White Zinfandel. Staz-On Black and Copic flesh tones do not mix as I got some serious running (I wonder why as Staz-On isn't supposed to run) so my solution was to get diverse. After all this, I ran out of ideas for the bling and it's time for me to go outside by the pool.

I think the Zinfandel is fabulous. I can't believe you don't like this. I think it has lots of awesome aspects. Your coloring is wonderful. I do not see any running of the stazon. I really like your take on this challenge. Ahhhh go have a Merlot by the pool. It will ease your mind. TFS

Your frustrations aside, this is still a fun card! Thanks for reinforcing that I'm not the only one who doesn't always get it how it is in my head, and enjoy the pool - I'm jealous!

Oh... the pool sounds real good right now! We can do lunch on a rainy day! Love this cute image and I think you said you just got your copics... Im sure there's a learning curve. The coloring looks great to me, but I know how frustrating it can be when it isn't up to your own expectations! I'm just toying with copics too... not sure if I'll be able to do anything with them, but I see so many on here doing killer cards I had to get just a few to try! Great card! Enjoy that pool!
