A good friend of mine is buying her first home, and I couldn‘t be happier for her. I asked her what she would like for a house warming gift, and she wanted me to make her a mini album, but not a book to be put away somewhere. She wanted one that would stand up all the time on her fireplace mantel, kind of like the one I made a long time ago for another friend of her horse. So this is for Heather. Congrats to you my friend, and much happiness in your new home.
Cut six 3 X 6 pieces of Blush Blossom, score in the middle, and assemble like a regular accordion album. Cut designer paper to fit in each square (front and back), and sponge with Creamy Caramel. I also sponged all the folds quite heavy. Using the Copic Markers I tented off white ribbon to match my paper. Glue the ribbon and background papers in place.
With the Square and Round Nestabilites cut and assemble as shown. The silver round on the first square (Our House) is made from foil. Love that stuff!!! Punch your flowers with various designer papers, and glue in place. IÂ’ve started using BeaconÂ’s Zip Dry paper glue, itÂ’s wonderful for paper crafts, and holds EVERYTHING. This is the first time I used the Monogram Stamp by JustRite, what a wonderful addition to my Papercrafting stash. I can see all kinds of projects with it.
