Love this challenge! I used to make a lot of shaped cards, but this is the first one I've done in a long time. I found the template in my template folder (amazing!) and I saw it in a library book a long time ago. Can't remember what book or I'd give credit.
It's actually pretty simple: fold a long card in half and draw the paintbrush shape and cut out, leaving the left side uncut (this is the fold). Trace the handle on brown c/s and bug it. Rub a little ink over the high points and attach. Punch 1/4" hole in handle.
Crimp a strip of silver and put two brads in it. Attach equal size strips side by side on sticker paper. Trim to brush size and attach. Attach the silver piece on top.
Computer generate the type (font is Paintdrip). Attach to a leftover piece of the strips bg and attach w/ foam tape. Attach a paint chip w/ a twist tie to the hole in the handle.
As far as what I would use this card for;I don't know. Maybe an invite to a night on the town. A kid's painting play date. I'm sure there are others; I just thought the shape was cute.TFL
Edit: this fits in a #10 business size envelope.

Wow! What a great and unique idea! Thanks for the instructions! I would love to have a "come to a paint the house" party! Getting some help for that chore and turning it into a party sounds great to me!
