 | | Thanks to dawnmercedes for the fun LSC today, to make a shaped card. I love birdhouses and feathered friends so I knew immediately what to do! I used a self made template for the card base with the fold at the top. The birdhouse is stamped with Choc. Chip using the SU Weathered BG. The *hole entrance* is punched using the 1 3/8" circle punch. The roof panels are embosed with a CB A2 folder. I used the base shape to cut out a striped layer from Afternoon Tea DSP from SU to add color and texture.The bird is stamped with chocolate chip on Afternoon Tea SU DSP. The bird's eye is a crystal. Pearls and primas are from the SU Pretties Kit.
This card opens from the top (under the roofline) and measured 5 X 5 inches. I'm placing it in our new coworker's mailbox today!
