Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: It's NOT Hip to be SQUARE...or rectangular or circular....We had to make the card in a DIFFERENT shape...
I really wanted to make a special card for Markie, because he has finally overcome his fear of failure, and has joined the city pool swim team....
Ummmmm....Markie is a, let me put this lightly, HORRIBLE swimmer!LOL! I mean it...He tries. Really, he tries. But, let's be honest, when you swim with only ONE arm, you go in circles! LOL!
Well, call me "Old School," but I LOVE heart shaped cards! I cut out a template and then cut a 5"x10" piece of Real Red card stock. I folded it in half to create a 5"x5" card. Then, I placed the Heart template just ABOVE the fold and traced the template. I then cut out the heart!
Kendra and Kittie Koala are BRAND NEW from Gina K. Designs! They were stamped in black twice and both images were watercolored using Basic Gray re-inker and an aqua pen.
I cut out the images and layered pieces with dimensionals.
The background was run through a Cuttle Bug with the Swirls embossing folder. I rubbed a Craft White pad over the embossing and then sponged the sides.

Oh this is just gorgeous. The koalas are colord so fun. It looks like their fur is real. Love the layout and the colors and your usual layering, distressing and overall style.
This is beautiful. I knew it was yours, even before I looked to see who made it. You do the most beautiful work.
