I've purchased Iris carts over the years and they've changed sizes several times. I've been wanting to bring them all up to the same height, so my DH built a topper to create an even shelf.

Love the new shelf. Makes everything look very neat and tidy. How long will it stay that way? Mine lasts for the duration of the picture then as soon as I get creative it looks like a tornado went through!

Does the wood sit directly on top of the carts then or is there something else supporting it? What a great idea

The wood does indeed sit on top of the carts and there's a rim that fits just over the carts to keep them stable. My husband is an engineer and measured very precisely, so it's a tight fit and the carts don't move at all. TFL!
