Hello! Yes, WAAAY late for the masculine challenge, but for those looking for masculine cards, I thought I would still enter it! I have been kind of froze up on stamping. Wasn't sure what card to make for my father in law. He is a man who has everything he needs, and if he didn't, would just go get it. So there was nothing I could get for him for fathers day. I really wanted to make a special card for him. I thought about it for weeks. This old Stampin' Up! set was the only set to use. He hunts, and appreciates the country. So I started with the set. I didn't see him when he opened up the card, but he next day, he was glowing when he saw me! I truely made him happy. All in a card!! Now THAT is what this is about!!! The time and heart that goes into our cards. We can let even the hardest people to connect with know how much we love them. The cards we make are personal. Anyway, I think this was a two way gift! I guess I really made his day, and boy the look on his face even the day AFTER he opened up the card, really made MY day!!

I loved this card at first sight but even more after reading how it was accepted by your father-in-law. What a great story to go along with an awesome card. You are right in that what you felt is what this is all about. Thank you so much for sharing the card and your feelings.

Fantastic use of my favorite set. I may have to TRY to case this. You can't get that kind of response from a store bought card FIL's can be so hard to shop for. Looks like you found the perfect way to his heart.
