I hate sympathy cards, but needed one for a co-worker. Her husband died and his favorite place was their cabin on the lake. It's a perfect reason to use the Watercolor wash technique. I usually use these stamps with a more intense brayered sky in darker colors, but this worked well. I washed on ruby, orange and marigold in the center and Bayou toward the edges. Coudn't find the right color for the trees, so inked in olive with some thyme on the edges, near the rocks and in the trees-not quite rock and roll. Ovals are cut with CM system. Card measures 5 by 7
