I enjoyed painting this piece. Found the word stamp in the MySentimentsExactly catalog at my LSS. Stamped and painted the card to go with the quote. Ellen White lived in the 1800s and is the most widely published and translated female author in the world. She wrote books about the life of Christ, healthful living, child rearing, and other related topics. One of her best books is a small tract called Steps to Christ. Anyway, I've never seen her quoted on a stamp before, and I thought it was pretty neat. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church, like I am, so I will enjoy sending cards to my friends from church using this stamp. I tend to send out a lot of cards. I schedule song leaders and special music, so I like to send them a thank you after they have helped.
Okay, rambling on here, I know.
Enjoy the scene!

LSS -Local Scrapbook Store. They special ordered it for me from the My Sentiments Exactly Catalog. That particular catalog only has stamps with words in it. Very fun to browse through. U114 is the item number for this stamp. You can visit the website at http://www. sentiments. com/ (take out the spaces). They have some online stores listed where you can order items if you don't have a local store available.
