I realised I could use this card for yesterday's technique challenge 'shimmer' as I used shimmery rub on paste as well as for today's colour challenge. Didn't do yesterday as I don't have pearl powder. Bonus!!
I cut a card blank from black cardstock, a smaller square from soft blue bazzil and another smaller square again from the black. Both of the smaller squares were cut in half for triangles.
Stamped a small flower in tea dye ink (for the kraft/caramel) over the soft blue, sponged edges and then dragged the ink pad around the edges too. I put the black triangles through the leafy branch embossing folder, applied rub on paste and mounted on foam tape above the blue card. The blue circle is embossed edged with ink and paste and mounted on foam tape. Added a flower punched from caramel card and a gem to finish.
I really don't like this card, it's lacking something major I think or perhaps my sponging technique isn't that great but I did it for the challenge today so decided to upload it for any suggestions anyone could give me (thanks in advance) LOL! TFL

Hello my little English friend! LOL! I think you're being too hard on yourself. Firstly, the sketch you created is wonderful, love the opposed triangles. The gold and shimmer is wonderful too. Love that it's square and the gem in the flower too. Maybe you will see it in a new light now! Gorgeous.
