I used Sallyís sketch (SBSC143) and the Mix It Up Challenge (SBVC30) which was to use 3 designer papers from 3 different makers and also at least 3 embellishments from 3 different companies,
I made this collage page for my DH for Fatherís Day. I put it in a white 12x12 frame. Iíll put a copy in my DGDsí scrapbook too. I didnít want it to be too feminine, so I used River Rock as the base. I tried not to add flowers or swirls to keep it a little less girly too. I thought Iíd stay with stripes, circles and straight lines. It looks here like the colors clash, but IRL, they donít. (And the lines are straight too!)
I ran the Orchid strip through my Spots and Dots cuttlebug folder and darkened the circles with chalk.
I just got the Baby Face Cuttlebug alpha dies, and I loved how they worked. Itís wonderful to never run out of the letters you need!
Journaling: Grandpa became *Pop Pop* when Jaycie started to talk and couldnít quite say Grandpa yet. At almost 2 Ĺ years (6/15/08), she can say Grandpa now, but heís still *Pop Pop.* She just adores him, and the feeling is mutual. Pop Pop/Grandpa/Bob loves *his girls.*
