...okay, so it's not THAT old, but this picture is 8 years old this month (the 23rd!)....
Made it for the WT Challenge this week, to use photos in your creation. This extra pic popped into my head right away, because I've had it in my 'things to use' area for quite some time. =)
It looks so simple, but that doesn't mean no time was used! LOL....I hmmed & hawwed for a long time, trying to decide on whether to add copper brads, or just the cording, or both....my dilemna was that I wanted the cake to be the major focalpoint, and didn't want to take away from that.
As you can see, I decided to just add the cording. =) The pic is adhered to brushed copper cs, then on dimensionals onto the black card base.
Trying to decide whether to give it to DH THIS year, or wait for a "bigger" one...like the 10 year! =)
What do you think?

Wow! Great idea...only thing is...I didn't have a wedding cake! Would make a great wedding card, though. Or even an anniversary for a couple if you had a photo of their cake...ooooh, the brain is going in circles. Thanks for inspiring so many ideas with your lovely card!
