I wanted to try a technique I'd never done before, so while looking through the Splitcoast resource page, I came across the Magic Snowflake technique here:
It's similar to polished stone. The magic comes in when you heat the alcohol/reinker and the white embossing shows through. It was fun and easy. There are so many great tutorials in the resource section. No excuse to ever get bored with the same old thing!
I used Purely Pomegranate and Groovy Guava ink refills (will miss these colors). I dabbed the colors on some scrap glossy white and used a circle punch for one of the layers under the white embossed smaller flowers. To punch the corners on the main image panel, I used a small part of the scallop circle punch. I thought about adding a sentiment but opted to keep it all-purpose because the technique and background seemed busy enough. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful! Glad to see you are playing again! I thought maybe you took a sabbatical or something! I do love this technique and these colors. That corner treatment is really innovative. I'll have to give it a try.
