As usual, the male birthday cards have me scratching my head for ideas. My brother loves to play chess, so thought I'd try a chess theme. The graphics are from PrintMaster. I used a border of chess pieces, reduced its size, put a "King" in the middle and then added a text box using the Olde English font. I added Crystal Effects to make the king piece stand out. I punched squares in black and cream for the background, cut out more chess pieces and mounted all on Wausau Royal Metallic paper in copper.
