This is for my Monday challenge with a group of SCS friends, and this week we were challenged by Cindy Haffner to make a card using polkadots and gingham ribbon. Two of my favorite things to use!
I covered the scalloped chipboard with the SU Spring polkadotted dp and sponged with Close to Cocoa. The four corners were punched with a 3/4" punch and cut in half, also from SU Spring dp and sponged in Close to Cocoa. The gingham ribbon was tied on the one side of the chipboard piece and then another small piece taped behind the large scallop and back of the card. I wanted it to look like it's all one piece placed behind the scallop and brought over and tied on the side.
TFL!

I think that you should get an A+ for this little beauty. I love the DP with the dots, the gorgeous chipboard flower, the sentiment centre, the brads and that fab gingham ribbon.
